monday on a friday
Okay, I know it's not monday but I haven't posted a random inspiration spree in a few weeks, and I'm in some serious need to share what's been inspiring me lately. So enjoy this truly random inspiration and get excited! Because I have a long weekend ahead of me filling with some fun new things for cmq (yay!)

my man's dream space.
The boyfriend- an amazing NYC graphic designer- moved in with me earlier this year, and I have to say it was pretty seamless. That said, integrating a more rugged feel to my clearly feminine apartment was a bit harder. Mind you, the battle wasn't quite GI-Joe moving into the Barbie dream house, however I wanted to make my rustic, woodsy artist feel like this was his space too.
It's been a few months now, and slight improvement's have been made (just you wait), but when I saw this space I realize I'm obviously slacking. Gorgeous yet rustic. Clean yet vibrant. This space is essentially all my man would want in his home. I need to seriously step up my game.

good housekeeping
In case you missed it, last week one of my favorite client's homes was featured in Good Housekeeping and I nearly fell off my swivel chair with excitement. My Homepolish clients- Amanda and Will- are this adorable newly married couple in Hoboken who wanted to turn their apartment from a collection of hand-me-down furniture, to a space that really felt like them. Check out all the pictures & how I balanced the couples aesthetics on goodhousekeeping.com
