Color is my first love, and my second would be simplicity. Too much fuss in a design can be entirely overwhelming. But an apartment like this- one that still has it's own personality, still incorporates color, and still contains the warmth a home should have, that is perfect.
I'm not going to lie to you all, my loser levels reached new heights this weekend. For a birthday present the boyfriend got me a lap loom and I got to weave my first ever wall hanging [see below]. This might get a bit out of control. Get ready for a lot of wall hanging photos.

I know I've been seriously slacking on cmq. To be honest, it's for a very loserish reason- I love halloween and was working on my costume none stop for the last week. Awful reason, I know. But let me tell you, my mermaid sparkly pants came out really well, if I do say so myself.
